Dunblane Folk Club now meets at the BRAEPORT CENTRE, Dunblane on Sundays from 8:00 until 10:30 pm.

THE CLUB HAS CLOSED FOR THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS AND WILL NEXT MEET ON SUNDAY 14 AUGUST 2011

Join us for an evening of songs, tunes, recitations and stories. All styles of acoustic music are welcome. We play in a friendly and informal setting (no stage or paid guests), have a laugh over a drink, and generally enjoy the 'crack'.

So, whether you are a performer or just want to listen, come and join us - you will be very welcome.

You are welcome to bring your own drinks. Tea and coffee will be available, and we may run a non-alcoholic bar in the future.

WHERE IS THE BRAEPORT?
The Braeport Centre is easily recognised as a former school building. It has a generously sized car-park.

SOME DIRECTIONS:
From the south, leave the M9 at it's terminal junction, the Kier Roundabout (M9 continues as A9). Take the third exit, B8033 to Dunblane. After 0.9 miles, at a roundabout continue on the dual carriageway to another roundabout after a further 0.4 miles. First exit to the High Street. At the next roundabout, take the second exit onto The Cross and approach the Cathedral. Pass the Cathedral by turning right then left on Kirk Street (Tappit Hen Pub on right). Go straight along Kirk Street, which becomes Braeport as the road steepens. The Centre is uphill on the right (0.1 miles from Tappit Hen).

From the west, take the A820 from Callander into Dunblane to a junction with traffic lights. Turn left and leave the next roundabout for the High Street (first exit) then proceed as above.

From the north, leave the A9 at the Dunblane junction (B8033) the Perth Road. At a roundabout continue on the Perth Road past the Dunblane Hydro on the left. At the next roundabout, take exit three onto the High Street and proceed as above.

From the east, look for a really bright star, and follow it hoping for the best.
